VETERINARY INTELLIGENCE
Veterinary Intelligence
The world's knowledge, at the point of clinical judgement.
Dog food, cat food, supplements and even veterinary medicines from around the world can be cross-checked on a single screen. The diagnosis remains the veterinarian's. Our part is to deliver the dependable primary sources that decision rests on. Case details and images are matched against literature and reported cases worldwide, and only what is genuinely related is put in front of you — not as an AI-generated likelihood, but as the actual number of retrieved documents that overlap, so it is usable as evidence straight away. From allergen cross-checking to the epidemic map, four specialist tools sit in one place and lift both the precision and the pace of your work.

Case details and images go in; candidates come back ordered by how much of the retrieved evidence overlaps, every source openable.
A worked example built from real public sources. Not an actual analysis, and not clinical direction.
What this tool does
Overlap of documents, not a guess from a model
Rather than computing a probability, the tool states for each candidate how many retrieved documents back it through each channel — imaging, bloodwork and the rest — and every one of those documents can be opened and checked.
Faithful to what you entered, and nothing else
The analysis rests solely on the findings and values the veterinarian entered. A field left blank can never influence the result, so the premises of the consultation stay intact.
Live image matching against real data
Clinical material published anywhere in the world is matched on the spot to find visually comparable cases. Images are never held in a database, so case material can be analysed with confidence.
Sources named, or nothing shown
Everything displayed rests on a document that genuinely exists. Where no source supports it, the field stays empty — no inference, no filler.
Included modules
Clinical analysis mode
Enter the presenting complaint, findings, values and images, and related literature and comparable cases are searched from a vast body of primary sources worldwide. Images of the affected area and diagnostic imaging are analysed as separate channels, each stating plainly whether anything matched. Candidates are ordered by how much objective evidence overlaps, which guards against oversights and keeps differentiation moving.
Allergy history & detail analysis
Compares the animal's past allergy history with the food, treats, supplements and medicines it takes now, at the level of ingredients and proteins. It shows the same ingredient, derived ingredients and cross-reactivity between different animals, together with the strength of the evidence. For additives and synthetic ingredients such as flavourings, preservatives and colourings, it also checks whether the substance is the same one and whether it belongs to a group with cross-reactivity reported in studies. It searches and cross-checks pet foods and supplements from 37+ countries and veterinary medicines from 40+ countries. It can also read blood test results and produce a product-free list of ingredients to watch.
Drug, supplement & food cross-check
Checks planned drugs, supplements and therapeutic diets against allergy history, species and existing conditions. It shows drugs with the same ingredient or class, classes with reported cross-reactivity, interactions described in the package insert, and species contraindications, with sources. Allergy history to additives and synthetic ingredients is covered too. It searches veterinary medicines from 40+ countries and pet products from 37+ countries, and products not found are supplemented by a web search. All information used for the check is shown with its source.
Epidemic map
Name a location and a disease and occurrence, host and vector distribution and weather conditions are drawn together on a single precise map. Alongside an explanation in your own language, the epidemiological history reflects official data as published (rabies, leptospirosis, echinococcosis and SFTS are covered), supporting prevention and diagnosis tuned to the region.
Beyond the ingredient label.
Spotting hidden allergy risks from protein sequences.
A typical allergy check only confirms whether the same ingredient is present. Factdock goes deeper, to the proteins inside each ingredient, and reveals cross-reactivity between different animals (reactions caused by similar allergens) together with the scientific evidence.
Five things that set Factdock apart
Comparison by protein sequence (international database)
We compare the sequences of allergens registered in an international protein database (UniProt) using the FAO/WHO international criteria, uncovering unexpected pairs such as shrimp and dust mites, or beef and venison, that an ingredient list alone would never reveal.
Verification based on reliable studies (PubMed)
Using scientific papers (PubMed) whose existence we have checked one by one, we also show possible cross-reactivity for newer ingredients such as crickets and mealworms.
Clearly graded strength of evidence
Evidence is shown in four clearly distinguished levels: confirmed, reported in studies, inferred and for reference. Information without evidence is never shown.
Linked checks from blood test results
Load a clinic's blood test results to see, in one list, ingredients that may cross-react, even those not directly included in the test items.
Also covers cross-reactivity of chemicals and additives
For additives and synthetic ingredients such as flavourings, preservatives and colourings, the substance is identified in public chemical databases. Then we check whether, despite a different name, it is the same substance or a relative with cross-reactivity reported in studies. The same substance is shown as “High”, a relative reported in studies as “Medium”, each with its source.
Before you use it
What Factdock shows is the possibility of a reaction and its scientific evidence; it does not directly measure whether a particular animal will actually have an allergic reaction. Please use it as a support tool, on the premise that the final decision is made by a veterinarian as the expert.
Where it's used
“When a difficult case does not fit the textbook picture and you want a fresh angle from comparable reports worldwide”
“When you want to check a photograph of the affected area against visually comparable cases and public data from around the world”
“When you want certainty that a newly prescribed drug carries no easily missed cross-reaction risk against the allergy history”
“When you want to overlay local occurrence, weather and vector distribution on the epidemic map and give an owner precise advice before a walk or a trip”
“When you want to show an owner, on a map, the risk areas being watched for rabies or leptospirosis and make the case for prevention more convincingly”
